¹¹ (Hiram’s ships brought gold from Ophir;^(A) and from there they brought great cargoes of almugwood^[a] and precious stones.

⁴ three thousand talents^[a] of gold (gold of Ophir)^(A) and seven thousand talents^[b] of refined silver,^(B) for the overlaying of the walls of the buildings,

¹⁸ And Hiram sent him ships commanded by his own men, sailors who knew the sea. These, with Solomon’s men, sailed to Ophir and brought back four hundred and fifty talents^[a] of gold,^(A) which they delivered to King Solomon.
